Pierburg 3.0 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator Made in Germany. This piece is what we have used to replace the Bosch unit that was discontinued around 2020.
Stock fuel presswure on the 944 Turbo and 944 8v from '85/2 is 2.5 Bar. So installing this regulator will result in a increase in fuel to the engine. We don't recommned
this unless you have done something to the engine to require the additoinal fuel or the computer chip was mapped with 3.0 bar of fuel pressure requiring this regulator.
Lindsey MAX 951 Chips require 3.0 bar of fuel pressure.
Lindsey 951 MAF TUNE KIT requires 3.0 bar of fuel pressure.
Lindsey 944 MAF Kit requires 2.5 bar of fuel pressure.

Q: Do you have to get a new FPR with the 340hp upgrade? Or is the Stock FPR still able to be used?
A: we need to raise the fuel pressure to 43 psi. (3 bar). So the stock 2.5 bar will not work.
