Three Piece Suspension Crossmember and Three Piece Exhaust Crossover:

We have added several new products unique in concept and design. First of which is our three piece suspension cross member. This product installed in conjunction with our three piece exhaust crossover cuts several hours from the tedious task of replacing rod bearings in the 944 Turbo. Bearing failure in any engine is extremely costly. The more horsepower you make the harder it is on your rod bearings and the more likely you will someday experience bearing failure unless you replace them on a regular maintenance schedule.

These products are a must for serious race cars and for those of you that have developed your street car into a high horsepower machine. The rod bearings and pan gasket are not that expensive to replace. It’s the labor to access the oil pan that is the job that all of us dread whether doing it ourselves or paying to get it done.

Whether you’re performing a routine replacement or you are a long way from home at a track event and you hear that dreadful knocking noise, use of Lindsey Racing’s three-piece components allows for a much faster and easier replacement. Check the web sight for photos and pricing on these unique parts.

Suspension Geometry Correction Kits:

Our next product that has been a long time in development is our suspension Geometry correction kit. This unique Lindsey Racing product takes cars that have been lowered and restores the suspension geometry back to factory specs. Kits are available for both 911/930 models as well as the 944/951 models.

Lower control arm misalignment and tie rod angularity are both corrected with this kit. No more bump steer! For those of you that have driven a lowered 911 or 930, you know exactly what I am talking about. Speaking from personal experience with my ’85 turbo, even with the rack spacers, bump steer on the 911 platform can be unnerving and downright dangerous in the right circumstances. RSR struts and a tie rod drop kit will do the job but at a cost that most of us have not been willing to spend so we just live with it. Well you don’t have to anymore.

944 drivers don’t feel the same side to side wander “hunting” that the 911s do but these cars experience bump steer just as well. A 911 design suspension with a rear steer spindle, as the suspension loads under braking or in a hard corner, the tires toe out causing the sometimes severe side to side jerking of the car. 944s on the other hand use a front steer spindle, rather than the tires toeing out, they toe in. This does not create the “hunting” feel but still does add extreme drag and undue tire wear.

The Lindsey Racing Geometry Correction kit also corrects the angularity of the lower control arms restoring factory design and minimizing ball joint stress.

See the Web Sight for more information, pictures and pricing on these products.

Stage V Intercooler and Custom Header Panels for the Stage V Intercooler:

Lindsey Racing is now offering a completely new intercooler design for the 944 Turbo. This custom built intercooler utilized a 20 % larger core than factory with greater flow and cooling capacity. Placed in the stock location, housed by our own custom header panel, this monster intercooler provides the 944 driver the maximum in performance without removing body structure or blocking off the engine’s radiator.

Check out the web sight for details and photos of these unique Lindsey Racing products.

Cool Air Headlight Intake Duct:

Add additional airflow to your MAF or relocated VAM with our NACA duct headlight cover. Made from lightweight fiberglass, this part has good fitment and is ready for priming and painting. You simply remove your current steel headlight door cover and install the Lindsey Racing cover using the same hardware. No modifications are necessary to your car.

Rear Wing:

Lindsey Racing now is offering its rear wing kit. This uses both Swept (banana) wings and 12” straight wings in 60” and 70 “ lengths. Two different heights are offered, a 12” high race version which places the wing high up in the clean air. The 7” street version offers the same aggressive looks and performance in a more modest height. The center section of the factory rubber spoiler is replaced with this strong and lightweight fiberglass piece which provides the mounting base for either of the upright designs. We offer this base in gelcoat finish. For an additional cost, in a textured, flat black finish which matches the factory rubber texture very well. The uprights as well as the wings come in a gelcoat finish and ready for priming and painting. Aluminum wing end caps finish off the racy look of this Lindsey Racing exclusive.

HP Packages from Kokeln for both 930 and 944 Turbos:

Lindsey Racing stocks all of the components offered in these nationally advertised horsepower packages now available from Kokeln. 363-rear wheel HP on the 944 Turbo and 349-rear wheel HP on the 911 Turbo. Check the web sight for details on these money saving performance packages.

Changes coming on the Lindsey Racing MAF Kits:

Lindsey racing has made some changes in our MAF kits. We have not only added a great deal of additional fuel control, but have also lowered the retail price $200.00. Now it will not only be the best running MAF kit on the market, but the least expensive by far. Due to release in second week of May.

Look soon for new additional HP package combinations from Lindsey Racing including our high flowing cylinder heads, MAF kits, Exhausts and Intakes.

Our much talked about intake manifold is well in the works. The machine shop is building the tooling and first off parts. The casting shop is producing the patterns to produce the final casting. This intake will be both effective, and cost effective. Look for more information in the near future.

Until next time!
