OIL PRESSURE ADAPTER FOR GAUGE 911When adding a mechanical oil pressure gauge to the car, you don't have any easy place to tap into the oil system to read the pressure. You could remove the factory electric oil pressure sending unit for the factory dash gauge and try to make an adapter fitting to install into the engine block there, but that's a lot of work and you also lose the sender for the factory gauge. The Lindsey Racing Oil Pressure Adapter goes between the engine block and the stock sending unit and has a tapped 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Thread) hole already located to install your typical mechanical 1/8" hose and Ferrell type connection. This will make the addition of a mechanical oil pressure gauge to your car as easy as pie. This was developed for the 944 based chassis. Check you model and application to make sure you have adequate clearance as this will push the factory oil sending unit outward approximately 1 inch. Fits Models:
