WASTEGATE OUTLET MUFFLER 944T For those dumping the Wastegate to atmosphere on their 944 Turbo with our 3", 4", 4" & 5" Big Flow Exhaust Systems, but thinking you want to quiet it down some, this is the piece for you. Our Wastegate Outlet Muffler attaches directly to the original wastegate outlet pipe. After the muffler is a slash cut directional dump pipe which can be clocked or positioned to your preference. The clamps to attach to the muffler inlet to the original wastegate outlet pipe, and muffler outlet to the dump pipe, are optional. You may choose to weld it in place making it permanent and save on the weight and cost of the clamps. But for those who want to just be able to cut your outlet pipe and quickly clamp and go, it's just that simple. The Wastegate Muffler has a mounting tab on it that attaches to the hanger flange on the exhaust system to support the weight of this accessory.
