INTRAX SUSPENSION 924S, 944, 944T, 944S, 944S2 & 968
Intrax suspension systems are custom built to fit your needs. Three
different levels of performance are available in each of the three
kits. Street, Track Day or Full Race set-ups in the RSA, IK2 and 4-WAY. The springs, valving range and length of the
shocks and struts depends on which of those uses your targeting.
"RSA" 2-Way Adjustable Steel / INOX Mono Tube: High End Damping-System
The RSA is an RS with externally adjustable damping. The internals are more complex to give an even better damping characteristic. Different from our competitors, Intrax chooses for one single adjuster knob for both the compression and rebound adjustment. With this single knob the total damping can be adjusted over a wide
range of 40 clicks from comfortable to sportive/hard.

By using one knob the relationship between compression and rebound always stays correct. Also different from most of our competition, our adjuster changed not only the rebound but also the even more important low-speed and high-speed compression damping. The RSA has an internal thermostat that keeps the damping constant, avoiding the harsh ride in the cold morning, and the loss of damping in the heat of the battle.

- Black Titan
The shock absorber set can be equipped with the "Black Titan" coating, which will be applied on the guidance- and piston rod. Black Titan is an development from military aircraft industry. Their engines must perform under the toughest conditions, they must function from +40°C up to -30°C. After they fitted their engines with Black Titan, the service interval was increased by 100%. Intrax decided that what is good for their airplane engines must be good for our shock absorbers. The Black Titan coating, which will be applied on the guidance- and piston rod, cannot rust and is extreme hard and smooth. The friction is lowered with these piston rods, reducing oil temperatures, improving traction and extending life time under the severest conditions.
- Spring Rate Adjuster
As an option we can equip a spring rate adjuster for the front and rear. The choice for hard or soft springs is an important setting. This stiffness is defined as the spring rate. Intrax now delivers a spring rate adjuster that solves the problem of have to change the springs to change the stiffness, and enables an optimum setting under all conditions, reducing setup time and purchase costs. By sliding the spring further into the spring rate adjuster, a part of the windings is excluded of the spring action and the spring becomes stiffer.
"IK2" "2-Way Adjustable Mono Tube : High End Modular Built."
The IK2 is a real high-end shock absorber for demanding street and competition use. The IK2 is build using the
finest materials. The housing is made from 7075 aluminum. This guarantees low weight, maximum strength and optimum cooling. The IK2 damper is always chosen in the largest size possible for the most accurate
damping control: normally a 46mm body with a 40mm piston and a 16mm piston rod. Mc. Pherson struts are normally converted from the standard 22mm piston rod to an upside-down system with a 40 or 45mm guidance
tube for maximum stiffness and wheel guidance. This is especially important when the G-forces are higher
than obtainable with the standard vehicle.
The above pictured IK2 kit is shown with the "optional" ARC (Anti Roll Control), Black Titan Friction Coating and
Spring Rate Adjusters. Base priced kit does not come with these options.
ARC is done completely internally on the front struts, yet requires a external reservoir in addition on the rear shocks
due to the lack of room with the smaller shock.

After years of development Intrax did it. They developed a unique way to drastically reduce unwanted roll (lateral and longitudinal). Your car will have the comfort and all the other benefits of driving with "soft" springs, until you take a corner, need to brake or drive through a putt hole/over a curb. Than ARC will control ride height with the feel of a sport setup. For the car it's a must have, because on the long roads/tracks, your suspension acts like a soft suspension and gives you al lot of traction and stability in the car. But the ARC will make sure that your suspension won't collapse on a unexpected put hole or high curb and your car will corner like it's fitted with a sport suspension. So for the first time you can have the benefits of a soft spring set up without the disadvantages of too much body roll and/or collapsing suspension in putt holes, jumps, curbs.

"4-WAY" "Top Off The Range, Highly Advanced Modular Mono Tube Damper"
The 4-way is Intrax's top product. The damper is adjustable in the low-and high-speed compression (bump), rebound and the overall range of the low-speed compression, these adjustments can all be adjusted separate. Unique on the Intrax system is that all
adjustments operate stand alone meaning none of the changes in adjustment will
influence each other making it very good to fine tune the setup. Also each click will make a difference when adjusted. The system is equipped with a heat device
(thermostat) to insure damping force stability and optimum performance during all different operation temperatures. Finally the 1K2 system at your car is a
upside-down system with a diameter of 45mm. This gives a lot of extra installation
stiffness (less flex) in your McPherson suspension system. Which will have a very
positive influence in the handling and feeling of the car.
