DYNO CHARTS458.5 RWHP / 440 Ft.Lbs. @ 15 psi.Jay's 951 w/Lindsey Racing 3.0L.
349 RWHP / 345 FtLbs. @ 18 psi.RUF's 951 w/Lindsey Racing 340 RWHP Kit on 2.5L w/4" Exhaust Upgrade
415 RWHP / 369 FtLbs. @ 20 psi.Lindsey 2.5L 951:
This package can be run with either 48 or 55-pound injectors, depending on street or track usage. 463RWHP / 408 FtLbs. @ 21 psi.Lindsey 2.5L 951:
Same package as above only we added our Level III cylinder head and solid cam package. 72# injectors are required to deliver enough fuel for this thirsty package. Note the impressive torque curve. Normally a 10% drop in torque is good, with this package there is only a 5% drop in torque from rollover to redline. 479 RWHP / 453 FtLbs. @ 23 psi.Lindsey 2.5L 951:
This is the same package as the 463 rwhp but with 23 pounds of boost. We encountered a drop in fuel pressure at high rpm during this run. A supply problem is the problem. Either a larger supply line or fuel pump or both will correct the problem. 461 RWHP / 406 FtLbs. @ 18 psi.Josh B. 3.0L 8v 89 951:
This package was run on the street with 55 pound injectors. Track use would require 72 pound injectors. Note the impressive torque curve with less than 10% loss. 401 RWHP / 388 FtLbs. @ 21 psi.Richard Davis 89 2.5L 951:
395 RWHP / 375 FtLbs. @ 19 psi.Ted Burges 2.5L 951:
375 RWHP / 390 FtLbs. @ 18 psi.Wes Steward 2.5L 951:
This package makes good initial torque, but the drop off at higher rpm indicated a lack of airflow. This is the limit of this sport turbo. This is our 340 RWHP kit with solid lifters. 416.8 RWHP / 388.2 FtLbs. @ 21 psi.Wes Steward 2.5L 951:
This is the same parts as #7 only we added the Super 75 turbo and 4” exhaust. Peak torque was identical, but it maintained torque longer with less loss. We experienced a drop in fuel pressure above 6000 rpm. This car still had it's original fuel pump. An upgrade is required to achieve this power level safely. 305.2 RWHP / 345.4 FtLbs. @ 16 psi.Lindsey 1989 Turbo S
This is a very impressive package of working together parts for your Turbo S. The pull was done on 93/94 octane fuel. The torque curve stays fairly high considering the small turbo and the HP keeps climbing. On the next two charts without the 4" exhaust and Dual Port Wastegate, you see a much greater drop in torque on the same car. 278 RWHP / 339.3 FtLbs. @ 20 psi.Lindsey 1989 Turbo S:
This potent little packaged produced some huge numbers on this turbo S for minimal cost and install time. Dyno pull was done on 93/94 octane pump gas. 275.2 RWHP / 304 FtLbs. @ 15.5 psi.Lindsey 1989 Turbo S:
Same package of parts as the previous chart only done at 15.5 psi of boost. |
