The 4 cylinder front engine series of Porsche water pumper 2.5L to 3.0L engines from '83 use the same engine bearings for the Crankshaft (Item #2) and Connecting Rods (Item #1). The only exception is the Balance Shaft Bearings halves at the rear (Item #3). Those are separated by Thru '86 and then '87 onward. The Front Balance Shaft Bushing (Item #4) are the same for all engines. If changing the piston pin bushing (Item #5), they will require reaming to size. This is usually performed by a professional engine machine shop. |
