Oil Fill Relocation KitCut and Trim AOS TankWe are going to remove the old filler neck (funnel) from the AOS (Air Oil Separator) tank. The yellow lines represent where you need to make your cuts to remove the material. The cut we are making on the funnel or tapered portion is right between the 944 and 107 part numbers running down the side of the tank. So it's 944 (Cut) 107... Cut tank.This is what you would have once you remove the material. Sand down or smooth out anything left of the old material on the funnel portion where the hose is going to attach and seal. Tank in CarHere you see the tank installed on the engine. Hose PositionHere you see the hose and filler neck in the orientation it will be going. The hose clamps will be used to seal the hose at the bottom to the AOS and the top at the filler cap neck. |
