2.5 INCH LINDSEY EXHAUST FOR STOCK HEADERS 924S / 944 8v '83-'89
Lindsey Racing 2.5" Exhaust System for Stock Headers.
This exhaust system attaches to the stock 924S & 944 8v header.
Fits Models:
Thermal Coating:Ceramic Thermal Coating will help keep the heat from entering the driver compartment. It will also add to the life expectancy of the exhaust. With or without the thermal coating, the exhaust will give you many years of use.
Mufflers and MRPs:The systems do not come with a muffler. Some of you may already have a muffler you want to use so we don't force you to purchase one. The dimensions of the mufflers we use are 19" overall length, 2.5" center in, and 2.5" center out.
Optional Cat:All exhausts have a cat replacement pipe in them. It's the second pipe in the system. You can remove that pipe and add our performance CAT at any time or select it with your exhaust purchase.On our 2.5" systems, we use a 3" Catalytic Convertor and step it down to 2.5" on the inlet and outlet to minimize restriction and maximize flow.
Pre-Muffler Muffler:The 2.5" system sounds awesome with any of our muffler choices. For some however, it may be a little to loud. For them, we offer a Pre-Muffler muffler. This is a blow through muffler with little or no restriction that goes in place of the second pipe in our system.
Tips:On our 2.5" 944 exhausts, the slash cut outlet pipe which is the standard or stock tip is 3". We step the exhaust size up from 2.5" to 3" right after the muffler. This is why we sell 3" Tips for the 2.5" Exhaust.
