SPEC Stage 3 Hybrid Clutch Kit "PUSH TYPE ACTION". This kit eliminates the clutch fork and slave cylinder. It does require the matching flywheel and hydraulic clutch release bearing kit.
The disc is a hybrid (two types merged) with a 6 puck paddle type face on the Pressure Plate side of the disc and a full round Kevlar face on the Flywheel side of the disc with a sprung center. So its Stage 3 6 puck metallic and Stage 2 full round Kevlar combined into one disc.

Tips, Manuals and Instruction
SPEC CLUTCH PUSH TYPE INSTALL 944TThis is not a "complete" clutch install instruction from start to finish. This instruction only pertains to the unique areas that make this Push Type Clutch install different from a standard clutch install. With this kit, you are going to be removing and no longer using the Clutch Fork, Clutch Fork Shaft, Clutch Fork Shaft Bearings, Slave Cylinder and Hoses from Clutch Master to Slave Cylinder. Step #1 "Mount the Clutch Bearing Carrier"Mount the Clutch Bearing Carrier as positioned in the picture. Use blue loc-tite on the bolt threads. Step #1 "Positioning Clutch Bearing and hoses"As you can see in the picture, we are using a Zip-Tie to hold the hoses in position. You would want to drill holes for the Zip-Tie before you do the following. It's best to drill from the outside or ribbed side of the bell housing. Using the supplied silicone, apply some in the recessed area of the Clutch Bearing Carrier. This is going to hold the Clutch Bearing in place for assembly. Place the bearing in the carrier, press down to disperse the silicone, and position the hoses as shown. Attach with a Zip Tie. Here is a view from the outside of the bell housing. Step #3 "Fluid Hose to Master Cylinder"This is how the fitting are assembled on the hydraulic fluid how that will attach to the clutch master cylinder. The other hose is used to bleed the hydraulic system and should be positioned so you have access to it when it's tine to bleed the system. |
